Berenson & Company Announces Appointment of John C. Rice as Managing Director

NEW YORK, NY - Berenson & Company, the New York-based investment bank, today announced the appointment of John C. Rice as Managing Director in the firm's Power and Utilities Group.

Prior to joining Berenson, John was the head of the Energy Investment Banking Group at Credit Lyonnais Securities. Before that he was a senior member of the energy groups at Credit Suisse First Boston and, prior to their merger, Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. John began his investment banking career in 1987 and has focused on the energy sector exclusively since that time. He has advised a broad range of clients on many types of financial transactions including: mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, bankruptcies, and all forms of public and private capital raisings.
